The Leopard Man, ancestral African witchcraft, in the Imaginary Museum of Tintin. In June 1979 a large exhibition was inaugurated at the Palais de Beaux arts in Brussels, which later moved to other cities, including Barcelona (Fundació Miró, 1984). The leopard man appears fully dressed in this attire in vignette A1 on page 31, although the body posture of the figurine from The Imaginary Museum is only glimpsed in the darkness of vignette B3.

In this exhibition the most important objects of Tintin's travels were collected: the Arumbaya fetish, Ottokar's scepter, the Unicorn... The second figurine of the collection is the set formed by Tintin and his insperable Snowy. Our beloved character is guiding the rest of his friends through the central corridor of the exhibition.

Collectible Tintin resin figurine - SHIVA - IMAGINARY MUSEUM

The ninth figurine in the Imaginary Museum's collection is a reproduction of the god Shiva, one of the most important deities of Hinduism and represents the sacrifice necessary for regeneration after death. This is the religion with the largest number of followers in India, a country that Tintin visits in Cigars of the Pharaoh and at the beginning of The Blue Lotus. The sculpture of Shiva Nataraja, the king of dance, appears on page 50 of Cigars of the Pharaoh when a believer wants to sacrifice Snowy after Tintin's dog has bitten a cow.

The tenth figurine in the collection of the Tintin Imaginary Museum is a reproduction of the Stupa or Chorten tower, which are important religious monuments of Buddhism symbolizing the presence of Buddha. Inside are kept Buddhist relics and sometimes the ashes of renowned lamas. Tintin, Haddock and Snowy find them in the album Tintin in Tibet, on their way to find their beloved Chang, lost in the Tibetan mountains.

The eleventh figurine in the Imaginary Museum's collection is the African mask of an ancient tribe. It is one of the pieces exhibited in the exhibition of the Imaginary Museum of Tintin along with the rocket or the castle of Moulinsart. This piece appears in the Ethnographic Museum during the action of the first page of the album The Broken Ear, a few meters from the famous Arumbaya fetish.

Collection of numbered resin figurines reproducing the poster of the traveling exhibition Le musée imaginaire de Tintin, inaugurated in 1979. This exhibition collected the most important objects of Tintin's travels: the Arumbaya fetish, Ottokar's scepter, the Unicorn, the mummy of The Seven Crystal Balls, among many others. Walking among these treasures, Tintin is accompanied by his closest friends and co-stars of his adventures. The fourth figurine in the collection is Captain Haddock. Tintin's grumpy companion strolls happily down the central aisle of the exhibition.
