In The Broken Ear (page 23, vignette D9), Diaz plots an assassination attempt that, as is often the case, ends in failure. Formerly aide-de-camp to General Alcazar, he has never gotten over his demotion to the rank of corporal. This punishment was imposed after he remarked that there were "too many colonels and not enough corporals." Since then, he has hatched numerous plots to exact revenge. Unfortunately for him, his bad luck and incompetence make him more of a comical than a dangerous adversary.Featuring the likenesses of the main characters from The Adventures of Tintin, the 12cm figurines are crafted with meticulous attention to detail from Hergé's drawings. As discreet as Bada is flamboyant, Perez nonetheless displays the same criminal tenacity... inevitably foiled by Tintin.
