This resin figurine is that of Thompson trying to remove the bowler hat from his head, corresponding to page 57 3C of the album The Secret of the Unicorn.

The intrepid journalist wears armor alone in this adventure and, in this particular scene, he heads on foot to Chicago after being abandoned in the middle of the road by the cab driver, who is actually a gangster.

For his expedition to the polar regions, Snowy is outfitted from head to toe in a suit as warm as it is elegant. And while his bravery is legendary, when he struts about in his fur-lined coat, Tintin's faithful friend undoubtedly displays a dandy-like distinction that would make fox terriers the world over green with envy!

Proper attire required… or not. Because the Thompsons always have the knack of going against fashion and dress codes. Also, in Destination Moon (plate 18, box D3), thinking they are perfectly suited to the situation, they arrive like two hairs in the soup in red hats, pleated skirts and ballerinas with pompoms. Even if the traditional Syldavian costume suits them wonderfully, it is no less incongruous, especially amid the strict and monochrome jumpsuits worn by the base personnel. Representing the main protagonists of The Adventures of Tintin, the 12cm figurines are made in accordance with the details of Hergé's drawings. These resin pieces are finely made and painted by hand.Delivered in transparent cylindrical packaging.

The fault, as always, of Snowy and the cat of Moulinsart who cause headaches for the butler of the castle.
