Proper attire required… or not. Because the Thompsons always have the knack of going against fashion and dress codes. Also, in Destination Moon (plate 18, box D3), thinking they are perfectly suited to the situation, they arrive like two hairs in the soup in red hats, pleated skirts and ballerinas with pompoms. Even if the traditional Syldavian costume suits them wonderfully, it is no less incongruous, especially amid the strict and monochrome jumpsuits worn by the base personnel. Representing the main protagonists of The Adventures of Tintin, the 12cm figurines are made in accordance with the details of Hergé's drawings. These resin pieces are finely made and painted by hand.Delivered in transparent cylindrical packaging.

Collectible TF1 Tintin resin figurine - MITSUHIRATO AND THE PIGEON
His elegant clothes, his unctuousness and his refined education mean nothing: Mitsuhirato is undoubtedly one of the bad guys of The Adventures of Tintin. A white-collar criminal, this dangerous individual boasts only one real quality: absolute loyalty to his homeland, the empire of the rising sun. With a message in one hand and a pigeon in the other, the spy is about to make a terrible decision: Tintin must be killed!
A real treat. In Tintin in the Land of Black Gold (page 60, vignette D3), Thompson and Dupont undergo a strange transformation. After swallowing N. 14 tablets, the inseparable Belgian police officers immediately grow long—and even very long—hair and luxuriant beards. Hair-raising effect guaranteed!

AN ALPHABETIC ANTHOLOGY OF CURIOSITIES FROM HERGÉ’S ADVENTURES OF TINTIN
The object of this Tintin A-Z is to select details and facts that may be less familiar or even unknown, and which throw a new perspective on this remarkable reporter and his adventures. It is inevitably a highly subjective, arbitrary and personal view. Michael Farr (born 1953) is a British expert on the comic series The Adventures of Tintin and its creator, Hergé. He has written several books on the subject, including the best-selling Tintin, The Complete Companion, as well as translating many others into English. A former reporter, first for Reuters and then The Daily Telegraph, he travelled around the world as a foreign correspondent. After meeting Hergé, Farr started writing books about Tintin. Farr was the first to gain full access to the files and material Hergé had used in developing the Tintin stories.
