This figurine of Didi, hand-painted, corresponds to the vignette C4 (page 57) of the album The Blue Lotus. This young Chinese boy, son of Wang Jen-Ghié, is used by Rastapopoulos and Mitshuirato to decapitate his parents and Tintin by inoculating his body with a poison that turns him into a madman. Fortunately, the plan of the two villains does not succeed and Didi is cured of the disease with a remedy for the poison.
