Galician is one of the nine Romance languages derived from Latin and has around 800,000 speakers, mainly in Galicia. Tintin's twenty-first adventure has Bianca Castafiore as the protagonist when she announces her arrival at the castle of Moulinsart and Captain Haddock tries to flee from the trip in a hurry, but stumbles over a broken step that they have not yet come to fix and breaks his ligaments.
