Before conceiving the definitive album edition, known all over the world, the cartoonist had produced a first version published in Tintin magazine, the originals of which had been lying in the archives for 60 years. Carefully and meticulously restored, these documents allow us today to show the public The Jewels of the Castafiore as it appeared in its entirety, between 1961 and 1962, in the weekly magazine for young people from 7 to 77 years old.

Hergé, Tintin Et Les Avions - French, Moulinsart 24396
From the Soviet fighter plane Polikarpov (1929) to the Boeing 747 (1976), Les Aventures de Tintin tells the fascinating epic of aviation. No less than fifty airplanes were presented to us. Under Hergé's pen, the airplane is more than a means of rapid transport. It became a real protagonist of the action, like the Stratonef of the Adventures of Jo and Zette or the Carreidas, the supersonic business jet of flight 714 to Sydney. Author José Miguel de la Viuda Sainz, an aeronautical engineer, takes a close look at Hergé's choices and analyzes his unique talent, which is inspired by reality to create an imaginary work.

Del Quijote A Tintín
Unsuspected relationship between a book of "mockery" and a "children's" comic strip
Bringing together and studying in the same research the relationship between the stories of two characters of the stature of Don Quixote and Tintin is not within the reach of just anyone. Only someone radically in love with Hergé's art and his "clear line" and, at the same time, a great connoisseur of Cervantes' immortal novel could take on this task. "From Quixote to Tintin" is organized as a kind of bilingual dictionary Quixote-Tintin, Tintin-Quixote, with different slogans ordered alphabetically where the parallels offered by both characters are analyzed, which are many more than we would have thought before Joan Manuel Soldevilla discovered them and put them in value before our astonished eyes. "From Quixote to Tintin" is, from beginning to end, a feast of sensitivity and intelligence.

Geo - Tintin C'est L'Aventure - Nº11 French (2021)
This new issue explores Hergé's relationship with the animal world, as his interest in and compassion for animals took shape after Tintin in the Congo. But long before the emergence of movements for nature and animal protection, Hergé clearly expressed the respect that Tintin has for the lives of animals, both wild and domestic. In issue number 11 of this collection and in the company of his inseparable Snowy, Tintin investigates the state of the animal world today, so threatened by man and his excesses.

Geo-Tintin C'est L'aventure , Plantu, Hergé
Plantu invites us to rediscover Tintin, thanks to the look he casts on Hergé's work and on the world. Hergé, Plantu, two multifaceted artists, two chroniclers of their time, two essential comic works. The first, after rubbing shoulders with the press cartoons, let his genius shine through in the many adventures of Tintin, among others. The second, after an attempt at comic strips, imposed his sharp eye and his mischievous stroke over the decades, more specifically on the cover of the prestigious newspaper Le Monde for fifty years. This special issue invites these two spirits to dialogue, beyond time, and when they have never met. The influence, sometimes unconscious, that Hergé had on Plantu, visible in the numerous tributes drawn by the latter, their common themes, their openness to the world and their explorer spirit, their animal companions, one a dog, the other a mouse, are as many doors as this book offers, thus inviting you to (re)discover two abundant universes.

Tintin In The Land Of The Soviets - Special Color Edition - CASTELLANO
Created in 1929, this first Tintin adventure surprises by a new and modern legibility when it was colored in 2016, long after Hergé's disappearance. Already endowed with an enthusiastic energy, Tintin in this adventure gets into a powerful convertible car and, to express speed, Hergé lifts his bangs from his forehead... forever, in a toupee that will remain his signature physical feature. The young author was 21 years old and had always shown great skill with the pencil without having studied drawing. He did not know that he had just created a hero who would become universal and mythical in the course of his twenty-four Adventures...

De los Soviets a los Picaros, Bartomeu Castell, Castellano
It was about time that someone also looked into the life and miracles of Hergé's greatest creation, because the detective with the bloomers and the trench coat has found out everything about everyone. He has solved mysteries around the world and has overcome the vicissitudes of time as if nothing had happened. But... what do we know about him? Bartomeu Castell has equipped himself with his magnifying glass and his wide-brimmed hat, and has pursued the Belgian with the bristly fringe to the ends of the earth. He has sought out all the witnesses, from the soviets to the rogues, from those who saw him born, with his simple strokes, to those who witnessed his last salute on stage. Castell shows us all the existing clues to get to the center, to the heart of one of the Franco-Belgian vignettes that has stolen the most hearts.
